This Sunday September 28th, I will have a table at the *I Heart Crafts* Bazaar, a craft fair held from 11 am to 6 pm in Strathcona, at the Ukrainian Cultural Center, 805 East Pender St. Vancouver. I had a table at the last fair, but had a friend take care of my table since I was home sick with a cold. This time, I will be there. I will also be on my own since my husband will be working, so if you are in Vancouver, please drop by and say hello! What will I be selling? My own illustrated note cards, including my latest design featured below (along with a few brand new food-related Christmas cards).
If this illustration looks familiar to you, I drew it after creating this vegan cookie recipe from my blog. If you aren’t in Vancouver and would like to purchase my cards, I’ve got an etsy shop here. So come on by, online or in person and take a peek at my wares!
In other food blog news, a reader of ELS, Andrea, was featured yesterday on CBC Radio Ottawa talking about my beet greens & fried potatoes topped with a poached egg recipe that I posted a couple of weeks ago. Thanks Andrea!
Andrea is my next door neighbour! Small world and all that. 😉
Wow, so much excitement!!!!
Crafts bazaars are great fun! I’m certain your cards will be a hit.
I just looked at your cards and had a good gut laugh over some of them. I'm trying to figure out in what situation I would send someone a "Hooray for me & fuck you" card, because I really really want to buy one!
I love how simple and clean your designs are. Have fun at the fair.
Yay! Some awesome things going on for you! I love the (soy) milk and cookies illustration!!
I still think CBC should have flown you in for it! 🙂 Your blog is superb and deserves the spotlight.
It was a great pleasure and Adrian is so charming & nice. Hopefully a few people are no longer throwing away (imagine!) beet and other greens. That is one seriously delicious recipe (like all the others). Thanks very much. X
p.s. I hope the bazaar was big fun!
