on hold

This month isn’t the best. It’s raining endlessly and it seems more like October than July. I’m not impressed. This weekend, my beloved iMac hit the dust and my computer access this week will be limited, as the authorized Apple dealer decides my computer’s fate. I’m hoping for good news, but it will still be at least a week without a computer of my own. What’s worse is that there is a family emergency that needs attending to and I may find myself on a plane to London, Ontario instead of London, England. I’m thinking positive thoughts on all fronts and my fingers are permanently crossed.

Sad! I hope you do get your European vacay – fingers crossed! I, too, have been without my laptop now for a week or two, as I am awaiting the shipment of a new adapter cord. I have begun to realize how frequently I rely on internet at my fingers (bus route planning, recipes, addresses, etc), and I cannot wait to have it back again. Perhaps less computer time = more time to bake cookies??

oh, and I meant to say the weather is pretty pathetic. It’s almost worse than October, as it’s been really humid & sweaty here in PDX.

Sorry to hear that life has given you lemons…that totally sucks!

I hope that the grey skies clear up for you and once your computer has been fixed and brought back home you can take those lemons and search for a recipe for lemon meringue pie or a lime rickey…whatever floats your boat.

You know Europe will always be there. It ain’t going no place.

And in the words of Dean and Terry from the film “FUBAR” (heh heh)…giv’r…and giv’r some more…work hard and make money and then the government will take it’s part – ya know 😀

Good luck! It’s been raining here a ton this spring and summer. This much rain for a Texas summer is just crazy.

Hope that things work out better than you hope for. Britain is flooded almost all over and today is almost the first day of sun that we’ve had since the end of April.

    Positive Vibes coming your way.

At least the weather in London, Ontario is good (I’m in Toronto), though probably small consolation, all things considered. Good luck with everything (long-time inspired by your blog, first time to comment).
