texas treats

texas treats

I was so pleased to finally receive my package from Crystal! It may have arrived a little worse for wear (damn you, careless postal workers!) but minus a couple of broken jars, I love my package from Austin. What does it contain? Well, I’ve already tested out the Mexican table chocolate, which makes the most amazing hot chocolate! I’ve also busted out a cannela stick (that’s a cinnamon stick to you) to put into my morning brew and worked on 2 crossword puzzles in a little booklet she sent as well. I can’t wait to use the brown sugar cane cone, the green salsa, the austin nuts and the mexican pasta. Crystal even put little notes on each item letting me know why she chose them and how she uses them in her home. I love it! I’m thrilled with my package (and less thrilled with the postal workers at customs — grrrrr!) and touched by the care that went into it all. Thanks so much Crystal!

I’m so glad you liked everything! Did the magnets make it to you? Let me know when you run out of chocolate and I’ll send you more! 🙂

no, sadly the magnets didn’t make it. they must have been at the bottom of the bag with the broken glass and i didn’t want to take any chances rooting around for more goodness! i’m bummed about the magnets.

Grrrr! I’ll have to make you some more. Now to find some comparable paper for them… 🙂
